My Bolivian Spoils

Mission Girls

These girls were so happy to be photographed!  They talked to me so much and they wanted to 'see the picture' after I took it because they're accostomed to Papa Jon taking digital shots of them.  But they had fun looking through the camera lens and chattering to me in Spanish.

Mama Linda

Mama Linda was so great to be with.  We did much shopping and trying on wedding dresses and cooking and riding the trufi together.  Here we are at a bridge on our drive back from the Chapare.  In the background is the family trufi.

Papa Jon and Kyle

Don't these guys look cool?  That's a real live Bolivian waterfall behind them.  In America we'd build a national park around a waterfall located right off a main road.  In Bolivia, I think there's a sign telling you what the name of the river is.

Waterfall

Here's the unnamed absolutely majestic waterfall.  Go, God, go!  He's good at making pretty things.

Joanna with a kitty

Isn't she just precious?  She's Kyle's little sister, Joanna, my flower girl.  Joanna is obsessed with dresses and just so darling.

Big brother

Kyle is such a good big brother.  He's going to make some family a fabulous father one day, just like his father does.

Ahhh!

This is my personal favorite.
